#SWYS19 Official Race Announcement - Registration is Open!

Race 13.1 Charlotte registration is open!

Black Girls RUN! is excited to partner with Capstone Event Group and Race 13.1 Charlotte to make this race a national meetup for 2019, but most importantly, the official race for the 2019 BGR! Sweat With Your Sole National Conference/Race Weekend and 10 Year Homecoming Weekend!

This registration is separate from the BGR! conference and is optional to participate.

13.1 or 8K options*

This is the official race for the BGR! Sweat With Your Sole 10 year homecoming conference weekend!

-Bonus bling will go to all BGR! runners (half & 8k)

-August 10 will be the last day to register and earn bonus bling

They have a required question on the form that asks runners to pick which run club they are affiliated with - we will use this to denote who's running with BGR! rather than a separate registration form in previous years.

The first price increase will be on May 15 (current price through May 14).

Race 13.1 Charlotte half marathon and 8k returns to the Queen City on September 21, 2019! The first 3-4 miles of the course will be on tree-lined streets with gently rolling hills through beautiful residential neighborhoods, and the bulk of the flat and fast course will take place on the picturesque Four Mile Creek Greenway and McAlpine Creek Greenway, with the McAlpine Creek providing quite a beautiful view from the trail! The race will start and finish at Toringdon, in the heart of Ballantyne, with ample parking and great dining options nearby.

From the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets and the Charlotte Motor Speedway, to the great shopping destinations at Ballantyne Village and Southpark Mall, the state's largest city has a lot to offer for a variety of interests. Runners will have plenty of opportunities for fun before and after the race!
