Your conference registration includes Thursday’s opening event, Friday’s breakfast, Friday and Saturday’s conference sessions, Friday’s lunch, Friday’s dinner event and Saturday’s dinner event and Sunday’s farewell brunch.

Yes, at the time of registration, you can select to make a partial payment. 30% of your conference registration is due at the time of registration, and the remainder must be paid by July 1. You can make payments during that time of any amount. There are no refunds after July 1.

You can be refunded 50% of your payment (or what you have paid to date under your payment plan) by July 1. After July 1, there are no refunds for this conference.

Conference activities will officially kickoff at 2pm on Thursday with registration on September 10. Thursday’s night event begins at 5pm. Friday, September 11 will be the full day of conference sessions, our Preserve the Sexy expo and our pre race dinner. Saturday, September 12 will be the race, post race sessions, vendor expo and finale dinner. Sunday will be our farewell brunch. The conference will end at 10am on Sunday.

Saturday night is our formal finale dinner. We will also have a special keynote speaker.

Please email info@blackgirlsrun.com to start the transfer process. All transfers have to be submitted by July 1. There are no deferrals for future events.
The race registration is separate from the conference and you will have to adhere to their refund/deferral policy.

Of course, we cannot get together for our official conference weekend without a run! We have teamed up with Richmond 1619 on Saturday, September 12. This race is a 16.19K and 8K. Register and join Team Black Girls RUN!, click here to sign up. Race registration is separate from the conference.

Our host hotel is the gorgeous Richmond Marriott and Hilton Richmond in Downtown Richmond.

RIC is the airport in Richmond, Virginia and is 10 minute drive to Downtown Richmond. There is also convenient train options with Amtrak (Staples Mill and Main Street Station). We do not offer transportation to/from the hotel. The hotel does not have an airport shuttle.

No, you will only need transportation to/from the airport and hotel. All activities (including the race) are within walking distance.

The race start/finish is at Grant Park which is within walking distance of the hotel.

You will need to pay for the full conference, race registration, travel to/from the hotel, hotel for 3 nights (Thursday - Sunday) and your flight/transportation costs. We will have a vendor expo and Black Girls RUN! gear onsite as well for some shopping!

No there is not. There are no a la carte items other than the Saturday morning race (Richmond 1619).

Yes, you can modify your registration. Use your confirmation number on your registration email to log back in. We will have limited additional sizes on site if you need to exchange.
